The Datsun 240Z (known as the Fairlady Z in the Land of the Rising Sun) was a coupe produced for the American market in the early ’70s, before being exported to Japan and Europe shortly afterwards. Three variants exist: the Z, the Z-L and the ZG. The ZG is characterized by a “G-nose” composed of protected lights, fiberglass body elements and special fenders. The ZG is exclusive to the Japanese market. It is produced to allow the 240Z to be homologated in Group 4 (GT and rally). It’s a very rare model!
